METAMORPHOSIS

Definition - The term, metamorphosis, describes the transformation or change in a shape, structure, color of a thing, resulting in a complete change of character, appearance, or condition. This process is one found in nature: changing of the seasons, the aging process, seeds germinating into a growing plant, blossoming, then dying at the end of the cycle.
